Upper Canada Village is a place where you can learn about how Canadians lived in the past. It's one of those living museums, where lots of people are onsite in traditional clothing pretending to be people from the past who live and work there and who are willing to answer lots of questions. We visited Upper Canada Village in the summer of 2015 and all of us enjoyed our trip there enormously.
