Before we went to Québec City we went over
some lessons in our French books again just to be sure
but to our surprise
speaking French turned out to be less necessary than in some parts of
Montréal. Noone had any problems to talk to us in English.
We mostly stayed in the old part of
Québec City though, I guess in other parts of the city less
people would be able to speak English.
We really liked it there. It's a very nice city. Maybe
because of its French flair, or
maybe because the castle is so impressive...
