Waking up at night? Fix your liver problems!

During the last 5 years I noticed that I would often wake up between 1am and 3am. When I woke up then I was not tired anymore. I was fully awake. I would be tired the next day. Taking melatonin would often get me back to sleep and I would not be as tired the next day but clearly something was wrong and it was getting worse over the years. I started to read and investigate this to find out what the problem was. A few month ago I came across an article on chinese medicine and it said that waking up at specific times during the night is not merely a sleep disruption but can offer significant insights into underlying imbalances in the body ( https://yosan.edu/understanding-the-tcm-body-clock-why-you-keep-waking-up-at-4-am/ ):

3 - 5 amLungsRespiratory issues, difficulty breathing, skin problemsGrief, sadness, emotional suppression
5 - 7 amLarge IntestineConstipation, bloating, sluggish digestionStuckness, inability to let go, feeling overwhelmed

This was eye opening for me! Something was out of balance with my liver!

Soon after came across a book called "The Amazing Liver and Gallbladder Flush" by Andreas Moritz. It has in the middle of the book a protocol to clean the liver. The protocol involves drinking apple juice for a week and then using Epsom salts, olive oil and grapefruits to flush debris out of the liver.

Apple juice contains malic acid and it is well known that it softens gallstones. Many people who had gallstones drink a glass of warm apple juice in the morning and they have for the rest of their life no more gallstones.

I did the liver flush as per the book from Andreas Moritz and two days later I started to sleep the entire night. I still wake once in a while (maybe once or twice a week) but it's no longer exactly between 1am and 3am. When I wake up then I go to the bathroom to pee and I continue to sleep afterwards. I am no longer fully awake.

It made a big difference. The liver flush sounds more scary than it is. It was painless and it does not involve anything complicated.
