Science benefits and grows because ideas are published and shared. Linux has grown
simply by sharing and publishing ideas and free software. We believe that
hobby electronics can benefit in the same way.

The Olm Airfield Automatic Weather Station: based on the tuxgraphics 644 ethernet board. Made by Roberto Orsello. The meto-cam and weather station is on line at http://www.amo.lu/meteocam. It is a fully autonomous weather station that uses the ethernet client feature of the tuxgraphics stack to upload periodically the latest weather data. The Olm Airfield does not have any permanent network connection and therefore a GSM/3G connection is used. The picture on the left shows in the foreground the cabinet where the ethernet board is installed and in the background you see the outdoor installations. (added March 2013)
The tuxgraphics garage door opener operating from a solar powered station, by Joe Landgraf (added March 2012)
